- Sawtooth Wave: Creates a harsh sound with rich harmonic content.
Download Tone
Download a 15-second audio file (.wav) with your selected frequency and waveform.
Share Tone
Generate and copy a URL with your current settings (frequency and waveform) to share or revisit the exact configuration.
Sequencer
As an advanced feature, you can use the sequencer to play monophonic melodies directly within the tone generator.
To enter notes and melodies, use the following format:
- Note and octave (e.g., e5).

Additional Uses
🎵 Musical applications:
-
- Instrument tuning: generate a reference note (via the “Notes” button) to tune any instrument accurately.
- Ear training: practice identifying and distinguishing different musical notes.
🏥 Health-related uses:
-
- Basic hearing range self-check: test how high (or low) in frequency you can hear.
- Support for tinnitus sound therapy: identify the frequencies where tinnitus occurs and work with sound masking techniques.
- Use in cognitive stimulation therapies (research stage): potential benefits have been studied in neurodegenerative conditions (such as Alzheimer’s) using 40 Hz sessions with square or triangle waves, typically lasting 40–60 minutes.
This is not a substitute for professional medical diagnosis or treatment. If you experience hearing issues or tinnitus, consult a qualified specialist.
